At CERI, we specialize in the seamless processing of trade finance instruments, specifically letters of credit and collection. In a dual role as both the exporter's and importer's bank, our end-to-end process initiates with the receipt of an MT700/710 message from the opening bank. The journey continues with the pledge to the exporter's bank, comprehensive document verification, and culminates in the execution of payment/financing.

Each stage undergoes meticulous analysis to ensure compliance, with a particular emphasis on the document verification stage in the letter of credit process. This stage poses unique challenges, demanding precision in alignment with the terms of the letter of credit and UCP600.

Revision

At CERI, we meticulously verify letter of credit records to ensure compliance with the bank's procedures and adhere to UCP600 regulations. This involves precise scrutiny at every stage of the process. Subsequently, we book the bank's commitment in collaboration with financial institutions, with dedicated representatives overseeing credit lines.

Document Verification

We conduct thorough verification of documents presented under the letter of credit, ensuring strict adherence to the letter of credit/amendment, and in compliance with UCP and ISBP regulations.

Payment and Financing Execution

In-depth analysis of the entire letter of credit is paramount to our process. We meticulously examine conditions and possibilities, culminating in the precise execution of payments for goods covered by the letter of credit. Our services extend to providing foreign payments in various currencies, ensuring an appropriate and secure payment path.

Applicant Financing (Postfinancing)

Upon the applicant's request, we offer the provision of funds for immediate payment to the beneficiary. This is facilitated through the granting of a loan on exceptionally favorable terms, established once the appropriate conditions have been met.

Payment as a "Third Bank"

In the role of a "third bank," we facilitate payments outside the letter of credit structure. Acting upon authorization from the applicant's bank and a payment order from the beneficiary's bank, we meticulously handle all necessary fees. This ensures the maintenance of an appropriate and secure payment path for the bank.

Collection Processing

Our collection processing involves a streamlined approach:

Data Entry: We enter data into systems as per the exporter's or their bank's request.
Document Preparation: We meticulously prepare letters for sending documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Payment Deadline Management: Keeping a vigilant eye on payment deadlines to facilitate timely execution.
Cost Clearance and Payments: Clearing associated costs and efficiently making payments to the exporter or their bank.
